So, this is not a brand new video but I only found it about a week ago! This is probably the first ever Murs post on 1200.nu. This track comes from the album ”The Iliad is Dead and the Odyssey is Over” released August 2019 and as you might have guessed produced by 9th Wonder.

I’m not a fan of videos being premiered on places such as Time Square. On the other hand this is the very first video off the upcoming album ”Eve” by Rapsody. ”Ibtihaj” is produced by 9th Wonder and features The Genius a.k.a. The GZA and D’Angelo. Money from Roc Nation was also invested to get Roxanne Shanté and Mary J. Blige to feature the video.

Samtidigt som Rapsody och 9th Wonder turnerar Europa laddar Kooley High inför 30:e mars och releaset av ”Never Come Down”. ”Ceiling” är proddad av Foolery. Charlie Smarts och Tab-One kickar rhymesen och DJ Ill Digitz lägger cutsen. Skivan släpps digitalt och i vinyl format.

Att göra en hyllnings mix till en artist/artister som fortfarande lever har inte 1200.nu tidigare gjort. Men vi är ganska flexibla och tar gärna emot tankar och förslag! Inför ett nytt besök av 9th Wonder och Rapsody har vi därför valt att redigera och ladda upp mixen som spelades in 2014 inför duon från North Carolina tidigare besök.

Grammy nominerad och Sverige aktuella Rapsody droppar visuellt till spåret “Chrome (Like Ooh)” från Laila’s Wisdom. 2014 besökte hon Fasching. Ganska mycket folk var på plats men det var absolut inte slutsålt! Vi hoppas på ännu mera folk då Rapsody tillsammans med 9th Wonder intar scenen på Debaser 11/3! Biljetter hittar ni här.

Rapsody’s “Laila’s Wisdom” släpptes förra månaden. Självklart har 9th Wonder producerat tillsammans med bla. Nottz och Khrysis. Gästar gör Kendrick Lamar, Black Thought, Anderson .Paak, m. fl. ”Laila’s Wisdom” är första släppet sedan Rapsody signades till Roc Nation och visst märks en annorlunda sound…självklart kanske inte bara pga. Roc Nation. Uppmuntrar er att lyssna, annorlunda är absolut inte dåligt!
