Being that we published what we didn’t know was part 1 we also have to publish part 2 of ”Hercules”. This is off ”Let Love” dropping end of this month.
This is to me another ordinary Common release! Really, I haven’t heard the full project yet but for what I’ve heard (and seen!!) so far I’m not expecting a big surprise!

Best Producer On The Mic and Lone Catalysts member J Rawls teams up with Nova on a project to be called ”The Profit” to be released later this year.
Ras Kass – ”Shark Week”
Since Ras Kass released his debut album ”Soul on Ice” in 1996, he has released tons of music. Along with Planet Asia, Ras Kass has probably been one of the underground hip-hop artists out of Cali releasing most music.
”Soul on Ice 2” is being released throught the Columbia label Mello Music Group and features artists such as Styles P, Lil Fame, Immortal Technique, Cee-Lo Green, Snoop Dog and many others.
Verb T & Pitch 92 – ”Tragedy & Comedy”
Seen this duo perform only a couple of days ago! The new by Verb T & Pitch 92 drops August 30th throught High Focus Records. This is the second single off ”A Question of Time”.
Donwill feat. The MTA – ”Service Delay”
These Tanya Morgan members always manage to flip music just the way I like it! If you still haven’t checked the Donwill album ”One Word No Space” I recommend you do! I ended up buying 6/12 tracks on my first listen! I just might buy the rest of the album in the next few days! By the way…album is entirely produced by Von Pea!
NEMS – ”Heavy Metal”
Really feeling the deliver by NEMS on this Jazzsoon production off the ”Gorilla Monsoon” album by NEMS dropped earlier this year. To purchase follow this link!
Rapsody feat. D’Angelo & GZA – ”Ibtihaj”
I’m not a fan of videos being premiered on places such as Time Square. On the other hand this is the very first video off the upcoming album ”Eve” by Rapsody. ”Ibtihaj” is produced by 9th Wonder and features The Genius a.k.a. The GZA and D’Angelo. Money from Roc Nation was also invested to get Roxanne Shanté and Mary J. Blige to feature the video.
Masta Ace & Marco Polo – ”Get Shot”
The Breukelen Story continues to deliver good tunes and great visuals! Masta Ace on MC duties needs no introduction. Marco Polo has been delivering proper beats for many years now! Through legendary Fat Beats they released ”A Breukelen Story” in November 2018. Check it out if you still haven’t!
Common feat. Swizz Beatz – ”Hercules”
The upcoming project by Common called ”Let Love” drops August 30th. ”Hercules” is produced by Swizz Beatz.
staHHr – ”Go Time”
A great delivery by MC staHHr supported on production by Astronote! Although I’ve known about staHHr earlier this is the first ever post of this MC here on 1200.nu. Hopefully we’ll see more of her! And if Astronote rings any bells it might be because among others he’s worked with artists such as The Black Opera, King Magnetic and Magestik Legend.
Tone Spliff feat. Recognize Ali – ”Recreational Rec”
Apparently I’ve missed the ”Recreational Rec” video from Tone Spliff’s ”Ardore Melodico” album released in August 2018. Recognize Ali is one of many MCs featuring this very good project available on green vinyl (limited to 300) as well as digitally through Tone Spliff’s Bandcamp.
Sadat X & El Da Sensei – ”Breakthrough”
The great Sadat X and El Da Sensei release a new EU recorded video from their ”XL” project released in September last year. Ment Plus is the name of the producer for this particular track.
