J Dilla a.k.a. Jay Dee left us in februari 2006. 32 years old, Dilla left a legacy of amazing music both as a solo artist as in his productions. This tribute is a small taste of the music Jay Dee blessed us with and that we at 1200.nu feel you should experience.
Shoutout to Raw Fusion who invited Jay Dee in 2002(?) to perform in Mosebacke, Stockholm.

I brist på bra skit senaste tiden har jag bestämt mig för att blessa er med en skiva som släpptes för mer än ett år sen och som i min åsikt inte har fått tillräckligt mycket uppmärksamhet (mycket handlar om det för min del!).

J. Slikk har proddat denna skiva som är (ännu!?) en hyllning till Rosie Perez. Tycka vad man vill om den hyllningen men musiken som levereras av J. Slikk, från Chicago, och Cy Young låter mycket fint i mina öron. Testa era öron! Ladda ned denna och se vad ni tycker om ’Soul Train Dancer: A Tribute to Rosie Perez’!
